To meet the needs of different trading strategies, Echobit Copy Trading uses a flexible contract pool mechanism. Lead traders can define which contract trading pairs are available for followers, while followers can choose which trading pairs they want to copy within the trader's available contract pool. This creates a more personalized copy trading experience.
What is the available contract pool for copy trading?
The available contract pool refers to the range of contract trading pairs that a trader makes available to followers during copy trading.
For example, if a trader sets the following pairs as their available copy trading contract pool: BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT, SOLUSDT, and XRPUSDT, then followers can only copy trades within those trading pairs.
How can I view a trader's supported copy trading contracts?
On the trader's details page, you can view the list of contracts that the trader currently allows for copy trading. Before starting copy trading, it is recommended that you confirm whether the trader's supported trading pairs match your preferences and risk tolerance.
Can followers choose which trading pairs to copy?
Yes.
Within the trader's available contract pool, followers can choose which trading pairs they want to copy.
For example, if a trader has enabled BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT, and SOLUSDT, followers can choose to copy all of them or only selected pairs. The actual available options are subject to the trader's settings.
What happens if a trader changes the available contract pool?
Traders may adjust their available copy trading contracts based on market conditions and trading strategies.
If a trader adds new trading pairs, new positions opened in those pairs can be included in copy trading going forward.
If a trader removes trading pairs:
- Existing copied positions will not be affected.
- Removed trading pairs will no longer be included in newly opened copied positions.
- Users can still manage and close existing positions normally.
Will the platform interfere with the selection of copy trading pairs?
No.
Echobit uses a dual self-selection mechanism between traders and followers:
- Traders independently define the contract pool they want to offer for copy trading.
- Followers independently choose which trading pairs they want to copy.
- The platform does not actively intervene in or recommend a trader's contract pool settings.
Users should decide whether to participate in copy trading based on the trader's historical performance, trading style, and supported contract range.
Notes
- The range of supported copy trading contracts may vary from trader to trader. Please refer to the information displayed on the trader's details page.
- When a trader adds or removes supported trading pairs, the change only affects newly opened copied positions and does not affect positions that have already been opened.
- Copy trading involves market risk. Please choose trading pairs and allocate funds responsibly based on your own risk tolerance.
- A trader's past performance does not represent future returns. Please evaluate carefully before participating.
