Echobit Perpetual Contracts
Echobit offers a variety of cryptocurrency trading products to provide users with flexible trading opportunities. Perpetual contracts are derivative products that do not have an expiration or settlement date. Similar to spot trading, users can profit from market movements by opening either long (buy) or short (sell) positions.
Unlike traditional futures contracts, perpetual contracts use a funding rate mechanism to keep contract prices closely aligned with the underlying spot market price. Echobit perpetual contracts support leverage of up to 200x, allowing traders to amplify both potential returns and risks.
Key Features
- Leverage Trading: Supports up to 200x leverage, allowing users to choose levels based on their risk appetite.
- Funding Rate Mechanism: Ensures price consistency with the spot market by balancing contract and spot prices.
- Flexible Margin System: Includes tools like initial margin, maintenance margin, and margin calls to help users manage risks during market fluctuations.
Supported Order Types
Echobit Perpetual Futures currently supports the following order types:
- Limit Order: A Limit Order allows users to specify the price at which they want to buy or sell. The order will only be executed if the market reaches the specified price or a better price.
- Market Order: A Market Order is executed immediately at the best available market price.
- Trigger Order: A Trigger Order is activated when a predefined trigger price is reached. Once triggered, the order is submitted to the market according to the selected order settings.
- Sliced Order: Sliced Order is an advanced order execution strategy that automatically splits a large order into multiple smaller orders and submits them to the market in batches. By concealing the full order size and reducing visible market impact, Iceberg Orders help traders execute large-volume transactions more efficiently while minimizing price slippage and market disruption.
Take-Profit and Stop-Loss Functions
Echobit allows users to set Take-Profit (TP) and Stop-Loss (SL) parameters either when opening a position or after a position has been established.
The platform supports two types of TP/SL strategies:
- Standard Take-Profit and Stop-Loss: Users can set fixed take-profit and stop-loss prices to automatically close positions when predefined price levels are reached.
- Advanced Take-Profit and Stop-Loss: Advanced TP/SL strategies provide greater flexibility for position management and allow users to implement more sophisticated risk-control approaches based on market conditions.
