Google Authenticator is a dynamic password tool that works similarly to SMS-based verification. Once bound, it generates a dynamic verification code every 30 seconds, which can be used for login, withdrawals, security setting modifications, and other authentication processes. Follow the steps below to complete the Google Authenticator binding and secure your Echobit account.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Log in to the Echobit app, tap the top-left corner to enter the "Personal Center." Select "Security" → "Google Authentication."
2. Send a verification code to the email linked to your Echobit account. Enter the code and tap "Next" to proceed to the Google Authentication page.
3. Ensure you have downloaded the Google Authenticator app, then tap "Next." Copy the provided key and tap "Next" again.
- iOS users: Search for "Authenticator" in the App Store and download it.
- Android users: Search for "Authenticator" in the Google Play Store and download it.
- Important: Keep your key safe. If you lose your phone or change devices, you will need this key to recover your account.
4. Add your Echobit account to Google Authenticator by pasting the copied key. Once successfully bound, the app will generate a 6-digit dynamic verification code. Return to the Echobit page, enter the 6-digit code from Google Authenticator, and tap "Verify" to complete the binding.

Important Notes: The Google Authenticator code refreshes every 30 seconds. Make sure to enter it within the valid timeframe to avoid verification failure.
